How To Book Missions- The Online Mission Booking System
Missions for 1 to 4 pilots are booked using our Online Mission Booking System (OMBS) which can be accessed using the "BOOK A MISSION" control above. The OMBS is used to check availability and book missions regardless of whether you are redeeming a gift, have pre-paid tickets or are paying by credit card. For information on booking birthdays or parties and events for 5 or more people please
The OMBS is the same system we use at our flight operations desk to book missions ensuring accurate availability information. The first time you use the OMBS you'll need to enlist with the system and create a callsign and password for yourself so you can check availability and make or edit your bookings. Once enlisted, you can check availability by choosing your mission duration, codename and the number of pilots you're booking. These options will determine availability and the system will show you date and time options that match your choices. Once you are ready to make a booking, simply select the date and time for your mission and you'll be asked to choose your payment or gift redemption option to complete the booking. Once you've completed your booking an email will be sent to you with your booking details confirming your mission is booked.
Details regarding mission duration, codename, number of pilots and payment/redemption options are below.

We recommend flying a double duration mission the first time someone flies with us to ensure there's time to learn the necessary skills and still have ample time for a great round of live action dogfighting.
If you are redeeming a gift certificate, gift card or ticket purchased from a reseller, it will indicate the duration of your mission.

Mission Codenames
Our simulators provide the experience of flying all aspects of complete strike fighter missions. That includes taxiing to the runway, takeoff, navigation to the target, dealing with the enemy's air and ground based threats, elimination of the target and with a little luck all way back to your base or carrier for a successful landing.
To build the skills necessary to complete full strike missions we have divided them into three missions as outlined below so they can be learned quickly and you'll be flying full strike missions in no time. Regardless of skill level, anyone flying with us for the first time should fly the Air Combat Basics mission. This mission covers all the essential intel our pilots need to progress on to our veteran level missions. For those with experience flying or sim'ing, don't worry, the Air Combat Basics mission has the flexibility to challenge even the real world fighter pilots that fly with us.
Air Combat Basics:
This is the first mission you'll fly with us but don't be confused by the word Basic. This mission is all about dog fighting! You'll start with the basics of how to fly a high performance jet. Add to that some radar operation, weapons and counter measure skills and in no time you'll be engaged in live head-to-head air combat with up to 3 other pilots on your mission! This mission will be your first experience at Air Combat Zone and will set you up for Veteran level mission and the road to strike fighter combat glory!
Fighter Pilot Essentials:
Take-offs, navigation, landings, threats and strike mission tactics are essential tools a fighter pilot needs to survive. You'll need to learn them too in order to round out your fighter jock skills so you can kick butt flying complete strike fighter combat missions. We recommend this as the second mission your fly with us.
Air To Ground Attack:
You may think it's not as glamorous as dog fighting, but the first time you destroy an enemy ground target with a 1,000 lb bomb, you'll be coming around for a second pass for sure! Waypoint navigation, MK80 series munitions free fall delivery, HARM deployment and ground based RWR threats will all be covered on this, your third and final mission prior to flying your first complete strike fighter mission!

Pilot "Enlistment" Requirements
Our "pilots" range in age from 10 years old to over 80 with the majority of our customers being between 25 and 55. It's common for couples to have fun with us engaging in air-to-air combat dispelling the "it's a guy thing" myth. As long as a person can climb into the cockpit, see over the instrument panel and use the controls, they're in for some fun. But don't be mistaken: while absolutely no experience is necessary to enjoy or fighter pilot experience, our missions are no trip to a kiddie arcade. We have many "been there, done that" real world fighter pilots come and fly with us and they all agree that the Air Combat Zone fighter experience is "AWESOME", even licensed pilots are sure to have a blast trying their hand at flying into combat with us!
Our
atmosphere and decor is "fighter jets" from front to back with
many pictures, posters, mementos and models everywhere. While
family and friends are welcome to enjoy Air Combat Zone while
their pilots fly, please be aware that young children will
require constant supervision to ensure their safety and that
of our property.
