We are however an appointment based business and as such have the following rules of engagement, better known as terms and conditions, to ensure we are able to accomplish our mission.

Mission Payment:

All missions must be pre-paid at the time of booking by redeeming a gift certificate, gift card, prepaid ticket or other voucher or by credit card payment. If you are redeeming a certificate, card, ticket or voucher you must provide it when you check in for your mission. Many of our vouchers are purchased through 3rd party vendors and we require them to receive payment for your mission. Mission payment by debit card or cash can be made by booking missions at Air Combat Zone. Please be aware that you may be unable to access Air Combat Zone while missions or events are in progress. Unfortunately we do not accept personal cheques.

Air Combat Zone Gift Certificate Refunds and Expiration:

Gift certificates purchased from Air Combat Zone can be returned for a full refund to the purchaser within 60 days of their purchase date. Certificates older than 60 days are transferable but are non-refundable.

Presently, Air Combat Zone gift certificates are issued with an expiration date of 1 year from the date of purchase. If an expiry date is indicated on the certificate, Air Combat Zone gift certificates expire on the date shown. Expired certificates can be used within 2 months of expiration for an expiration fee of 10% of the mission booked, between 2 and 4 months after expiration for an expiration fee of 25% and between 4 and 6 months after expiration for an expiration fee of 50%. Beyond 6 months after expiration, certificates are void.

Air Combat Zone Direct Mission Booking Refunds:

A full refund can be issued for paid mission bookings by contacting us more than 3 days prior to the mission date. Within 3 days of the mission date, paid mission bookings can be re-booked as outlined below but are non-refundable.

3rd Party Certificate, Card, ticket and other Voucher Refunds:

Several 3rd party vendors sell Air Combat Zone mission and packages. For information on the refund terms and conditions that apply to a 3rd party voucher, please contact the vendor directly. Mission Cancellation and Re-Booking:

Missions can be cancelled and rebooked up to 3 days prior to the mission with no restrictions using the online mission booking system or by contacting flight operations by phone, voicemail or email. Within 3 days before a mission, your payment option will be processed and cancellations are not accepted. In the case that you are unable to attend the mission, an equivalent mission can be booked with a credit of 50% of the original mission cost applied. Optionally, you may arrange for someone else to fly the mission as booked. We appreciate your understanding in this matter.

Late Arrival:

Missions start on time. If you are delayed in arriving for your mission, contact us A.S.A.P. If scheduling permits, we will attempt to accommodate your situation. It is the sole discretion of Air Combat Zone to determine if you have arrived too late to reasonably complete your mission in which case the No Show terms will apply.

No Show for Mission:

No show? No refund. No Rebooking.

Enlisting Requirements:

No previous flying experience is necessary. Due to dimensional accuracy of the simulator, please note pilots should be taller than 4' 10" and very large individuals will find the cockpit size restrictive. While Air Combat Zone offers a mature environment (16yrs+), pilots from 10 to 15 years old are welcome when accompanied by an adult while at Air Combat Zone. All pilots (and their guardians if 16 our younger) are required to complete and sign our standard "Release of Liability" form prior to flying with us. The content of the release is shown here:

THE UNDERSIGNED:
1. Is aware of the possibility of the risks of injury, including, but not limited to developing nausea and tripping;
2. Agrees to participate in activities according to the rules which have been posted or explained and to follow directions given by Air Combat Zone staff;
3. Certifies that he/she is over 16 years old or if younger, is accompanied by an adult, who also agrees to and has signed this waiver;
4. Authorizes use of photos, videos, name, comments, mission results, etc. for promotional purposes;
THIS DOCUMENT IS INTENDED TO BE A LEGALLY BINDING CONTRACT, RELIEVING AIR COMBAT ZONE INC., ITS EMPLOYEES AND ITS EQUIPMENT SUPPLIERS FROM LIABILITY FOR INJURY TO YOU. IF YOU HAVE ANY DOUBTS CONCERNING ANY ASPECT OF ITS CONTENTS, CONSULT AN ATTORNEY BEFORE SIGNING IT.

Conduct Unbecoming A Pilot Officer:

If instructed to do so an Air Combat Zone "pilot" must exit their simulator and their mission will be ceased if the they are deemed, at the sole discretion of Air Combat Zone staff, to be engaging in actions that may result in injury to themselves or others, damage to simulator(s) or other Air Combat Zone property or otherwise disrupt the enjoyment of other Air Combat Zone patrons. In these cases no refunds will be provided.

Gratuities:

The success of your mission (keeping in mind your mission goal is to have FUN!) is largely in you mission commanders hands. All of our mission commanders work hard to give you as fun and realistic a fighter pilot experience as you can have and you should feel free to provide any gratuity you feel appropriate based on your mission experience.
